Chinese philosophy through Confucius and Taoism inspire this edition of the Converse One Star. The kicks are shaggy suede built in a balance of white and black. The sneaker make direct references to their inspiration with Taoist symbols on the midsole and insole. Adding more philosophy to the look, the words “past scholars studied to improve themselves; today’s scholars study to impress others” are inscribed on the midsole. The kicks just launched at Converse First String around the world, including US based Packer Shoes.
