hanon x Diadora B.Elite “The Spirit Of ’83 Final”

In 1983, Aberdeen FC won the European Cup Winner’s Cup, taking out powerhouse teams like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. In 2015, hanon celebrated the glory of the victory with an edition of the B.Elite tennis shoe as The Spirit Of ’83.

The Aberdeen based sneaker shop is now set to release a second silhouette that celebrates the Scottish football club’s victory.

According to hanon, the second release was originally meant to be a friends & family drop but they decided to release it.

The colorway for the The Spirit Of ’83 Final drop takes inspiration from the rainy Gothenburg night that was the setting for the match.

Built at the Caerano Di San Marco Diadora factory in Italy, the kicks take on a suede and kangaroo leather construction in a black and thunder grey color combo with red accents.

In addition to the team color and Gothenburg referential colorway, the kicks are fitted with references to the moment and hanon…

Attention to detail includes a laminated kangaroo leather tongue, double layered stitched leather insole and plush pin stripe collar lining. Dual branding features throughout- embossed and printed on each back tab and tongue, whilst our Keeps on Burning fire emblem and ’83’ are embroidered on opposing heels.

The release date is set for Saturday, the 20th of February exclusive to  hanon. The limited release will ship with a dust bag and two sets of laces.
