Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Reebok Ventilator, Miami based Shoe Gallery has created an edition of the retro runner. Styling the Ventilator, Shoe Gallery gives the sneaker a unique Miami flavor, looking back to the 1980 Mariel boatlift for inspiration.
The Cuban migration from Mariel Harbor to Florida was done in boats that inspire the design of the sneaker. The look starts on a translucent sole that reveals an anchor graphic. For the upper the Ventilator in glossy white leather. Completing the nautical look, a shade of blue is placed on the liner.
These kix are launched on Saturday, the 5th of September through shops that include Hanon.
